ART FOR FUN

Whenever artist present their work, they are often ask about the meaning and representation that inspired the work. Almost as if art must carry a defined purpose. These questions can offer insight into the artist, they impose a form of limits. What happens when an artist creates simply for the joy or impulse of creating? Does the work lose value or doesn’t it offer another way of understanding art? This art show challenges the definition of “what makes someone an artist? What defines art? Must it always be complex? Or can it exist for the freedom expression to simply express?
