A Zine Making Workshop with Biggest Little Zine Fair

Co-founders of Biggest Little Zine Fair, Ra and Evan, will guide an introductory zine workshop. Attendees will be guided on creating an eight-page booklet from a single sheet of paper, and can elevate their designs using pre-carved lino blocks provided by BLZF.

Biggest Little Zine Fair (BLZF) is a free, community-centered event based in Long Beach, CA, bringing people together to celebrate the magic of zines. Through pop-up and virtual zine fairs, BLZF offers attendees the chance to explore a diverse collection of DIY publications, from art and activism to personal stories and underground culture. Whether seasoned zine enthusiasts or first-time readers, visitors can connect with independent voices and creative communities in an inclusive, welcoming space.

In addition to fairs, BLZF hosts zine-making workshops, providing opportunities to learn new skills, share personal stories, and dive deeper into the world of self-publishing.

Where can I park?

Parking is available at our nearby parking structure located at 1326 Obispo Avenue. Ride sharing is also strongly encouraged.

Can I bring children to the event?

All ages are welcome to enjoy our Art for All workshops!

Will there be food and drinks available?

Yes! Food and drinks are available for purchase through our restaurant, Union @ Compound. Come early and grab a cup of coffee or tea, or stay for brunch after the workshop. Art for All attendees receive 10% OFF their dine-in meal on the day of the workshop.
