Art as Earthlight: Rewilding & Release

Art as Earthlight: Rewilding & Release

By The Nest

Overview

A Nest Circle on Creative Connection & Climate Resilience. Hosted by The Nest – York University

Art as Earthlight: Rewilding & Release is a gentle, creative Nest Circle designed to help students transform climate anxiety, grief, and “I’m not enough” feelings into emotional resilience, connection, and grounded climate empowerment.

Through nature-based artmaking and a shared ritual of release, we will explore how letting go creates space for new truths, fresh energy, and collective hope.

This circle blends reflection → creativity → community → advocacy, offering a soft place to land during a stressful time of year.

The Nest is a peer-led climate wellness initiative at York University focused on emotional support, arts-based healing, and gentle climate action. We create spaces where students can breathe, feel, connect, and find community in the climate crisis.
