ART 180 Intro to Improv Student Showcase
Overview
Coalition Theater and ART 180 have partnered to offer Intro to Improv as part of ART 180's Atlas fall programming for teens. Taught by Preston Bradsher, students had a chance to laugh, play, and express themselves while learning the basics of improv. They learned agreement, spontaneity, teamwork, and active listening through exercises, games, and group activities.
Come see what they've learned in their student showcase!
--------------- Atlas is ART 180's art center and gallery, a safe space for teens to relax, create, and explore new mediums of art and creative production. They offer multi-week and single day arts experiences where teens learn from and collaborate with professional artists while expanding their own creative skills. They've explored everything from animation, podcasting, beat making, character design, print making, mural design, and zine making.
Atlas is located at 114 W. Marshall Street, on the corner of Brook Road and Marshall Street.
All of their art experiences are open to high school students and are offered at no-cost.

The mission of the Coalition Theater is to build an inclusive space where laughter connects people.
Through shows, classes, workshops, and community partnerships, we help people find their comedic voice, and give them a safe and welcoming place to share it.
