2025 Marks the 80th anniversery of one of the most significant turning points in recent history- the end of World War II. To commemortate this event we are having the Detroit Historical Society come to our branch and give a presentation on how Detroit- a hub of the auto insustry- went from making cars for American consumers to vehicles, munitions and supplies for the military during World War II.
