Come join us for an exciting in person event filled with fun and adventure!

The Around the World - Playdate Adventure is an immersive experience that will take children and families on a journey across the globe, featuring engaging country-themed stations, hands-on activities, cultural performances, and travel-inspired games.

Children will enjoy dedicated age- group stations where they can explore diverse cultures and experience the excitement of travel-all without leaving town!

Q: What is the “Around the World” Playdate Adventure event?

A: It’s a fun, educational, travel-themed event where kids will “visit” different countries through crafts, games, music, and cultural exploration. Children will receive passports, explore global stations, and become little world travelers for the day!

Q: Who can attend?

A: Kids of all ages are welcome! We’ll have age-appropriate activities and stations for toddlers, school-age teens (ages 2–17). Families are encouraged to participate in the fun!

Q: What activities will be available?

A: Activities include country-themed crafts, international games, scavenger hunts, music and dance experiences, and much more. Every station highlights a different country with hands-on learning and fun facts.

Q: Is this event educational?

A: Yes! The event is designed to be both fun and enriching. Kids will learn about world cultures, geography, languages, and traditions through interactive play and creativity.

Q: Do we need to bring anything?

A: Nothing is required, but children can bring a small bag to collect their crafts and goodies. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes for playing, dancing, and exploring.

Q: Will food be provided?

A: Complimentary light refreshments will be available, while supplies last.

Food will be on sale from local vendors or food partners during the event.

Q: How long is the event?

A: The event typically runs 4 to 5 hours, giving plenty of time to explore every station,

enjoy activities, and collect stamps in the passport.

Q: Will there be take-home items?

Each child will leave with a stamped passport, a World Explorer Certificate, and a paper suitcase filled with travel-themed souvenirs and completed crafts.”

Q: How can teens or adults get involved?

A: Teens can join as Culture Ambassadors to help lead activities, assist younger kids, or manage stations. Adults can support with setup, refreshments, or simply enjoy the event with their children. To get involved, contact us at zakasplayground@gmail.com.

Acknowledgment & Agreement

By registering, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding my child(ren)’s participation in the “Around the World” Playdate Adventure event:

1. Parental Supervision Required – I understand that this is NOT a drop-off event. I (or a designated guardian) must remain on-site and be responsible for supervising my child(ren) at all times during the event.

2. Liability Waiver – I acknowledge that ZaKa's Playground, event organizers, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers are not responsible for the supervision, safety, or well-being of my child(ren) beyond the general organization of the event. I assume all risks associated with my child(ren)’s participation.

3. Personal Belongings – I understand that I am responsible for any personal belongings my child(ren) bring to the event. The event organizers are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

4. Medical Emergencies – In the event of a medical emergency, I understand that event staff may contact emergency services if deemed necessary. I take full responsibility for any medical costs incurred. I also give permission for emergency medical care to be provided if I cannot be reached.

5. Behavior Expectations – I agree that my child(ren) will engage in respectful and appropriate behavior during the event. If my child(ren) exhibit disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate behavior, I understand that event organizers may ask us to leave the event.

6. COVID-19 Disclaimer – I understand that participation in public events carries an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 or other illnesses. I agree not to attend if I or my child(ren) are experiencing symptoms of illness. I acknowledge that event organizers are not responsible for any health-related issues arising from participation.

7. Photography/Media Release (Optional) – I Give permission for my child(ren) to be photographed or recorded for promotional and social media purposes related to this event.

8. Indemnification Clause – I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZaKa's Playground, its officers, agents, employees, sponsors, and volunteers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from my child(ren)’s participation in this event.
