
ARMER Dispatcher - 1 Day Class (Alexandria)
Overview
OnTarget Training will provide an 8 hour course of instruction for designated regional PSAP personnel on the ARMER radio system. Training shall provide students updated education and training to allow for advanced level of understanding of the general processes, standards, and procedures of the ARMER system as they relate to PSAP functionality, interoperability, and incident command principles, as well as hands-on functionality of the MCC 7500 console. The training will also provide valuable insight on topics such as the status of ARMER, “dispatch” best practices, SECB standards, as well as interoperability on a trunked radio system.”
Before the Training:
- Please print a Parking Pass to park at the Alexandria College.
- **Students currently working at an agency running MCC 7500 consoles are encouraged to bring with them a copy of their agency's console configuration file. We can review them in class and answer specific questions regarding their radio screen configurations.
- This class is for new and returning students. New students should review the suggested modules for ARMER Dispatcher II that are listed on the Alex Tech Training Modules (PDF) as a prerequisite. Visit the Training page for more information.
