Join us for an evening of conversation and small bites with Ari Weinzweig, founder of Zingerman's Press. The evening will consist of an interview, Q&A, and book signging.

Finger foods & 1 drink ticket included!

For the afternoon’s event, Ari will be interviewed by nationally known progressive leadership guru and creator of Intentional Energetic Presence, Anese Cavanaugh. Together, Ari and Anese will explore some of many out of the box approaches that Ari details in his many books and pamphlets. Dignity, beliefs, visioning, energy management, hope, humility, the application of anarchism to modern organization, line cooking, Servant Leadership and more. All of these approaches have contributed significantly to helping Zingerman’s grow from the 1300-square foot deli (with 2 staff members) it was in 1982 to the nationally known $80,000,000 organization it is today (with over 700 staffers, 300 of whom own a share in the business). Inc. Magazine called Zingerman’s “The coolest small company in America!” and Zingerman’s has been recognized in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Food and Wine, Bon Appetit, Monocle and so many more!

Aside from the great food that’s made Zingerman’s famous, the progressive leadership practice that Ari writes about have been studied and put to work all over the world! Wharton professor and author Adam Grant called Ari’s books on business and leadership “the anti-business business books!” Ari regularly speaks on leadership all over the country—he’ll be keynoting on making “A Revolution of Dignity in the Twenty-First Century Workplace” at the national Great Game of Business Open Book Management conference in Dallas this coming September.

This special one-time only evening at Mulvaney’s we’re thrilled to have him for a much more intimate free flowing conversation! Anyone who attends is guaranteed to go home (or stay for dinner at Mulvaney’s) with a host of new ideas, surprising insights, and thought-provoking new approaches. There will also be plenty of time for Q and A, while you enjoy the exceptional culinary work of the Mulvaney’s team. There will be signed copies of Ari’s books and pamphlet on hand for purchase that evening, as well.
