TIM RETTIG, President & CEO, Intrust IT®

Tim Rettig is a second-generation entrepreneur in the IT industry. Tim’s father started a software company in the 1970s, where Tim grew up learning data communications. At the age of 19 he was installing computer networks for cities and police departments throughout Ohio. While in college Tim started his own IT company in the early 90s, handling projects such as securely interconnecting Department of Agriculture offices throughout the US. Tim sold the company four short years after starting it, only to buy it back eleven years later. In his almost 30 years in the IT industry Tim has bought and sold numerous businesses. Today he is President and CEO of Intrust IT, a Cincinnati based IT company that simplifies cyber security for small businesses. Tim has the unique perspective of being a business owner concerned about cyber security, combined with a deep understanding of information technology. That gives him the ability to communicate complicated topics to both business owners and IT professionals.

Ryan Zatolokin is the business development manager, senior technologist for the business development team of Axis Communications. His primary focus is cybersecurity as well as positioning and promoting Axis technology in conjunction with the hardware and software technologies of eco-system partners. Ryan joined Axis in 2011 as a field sales engineer, bringing more than a decade of experience in network engineering on the systems integrator side of the industry. Ryan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialty in computer information systems from Eastern Michigan University.

Lou has over 25 years of experience and started his career designing, installing and servicing access control, video, fire and burglar alarm systems. For the past ten years Lou has been with HID Global and works closely with consultants, end-users and the integration channel. During Lou’s presentation he will be discussing smart card readers, card technologies and mobile access credentials that puts HID Global in a unique position to play a critical role in the evolution and adoption of smart card technology.

Shaun Keough’s practice focuses on assisting individuals and businesses with intellectual property asset protection and enforcement, including protecting copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. Shaun also assists clients with business transactions, entity formation, and compliance with data privacy laws, in addition to business litigation and appellate advocacy. Shaun attended Northeastern University School of Law, where he focused on business and intellectual property law, taking such classes as intellectual property transactional practice, corporations, employment law, modern real estate development, and land use. In addition, as a participant in the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court competition, Shaun co-authored a brief that ranked eighth nationally. Shaun was also active in the Intellectual Property Society and the American Constitutional Society.

THERESA ADLAM, Office of the Attorney General

Theresa Adlam is a Victim Services Program Specialist with the Division of Victim Services and Criminal Justice Programs in the Florida Office of the Attorney General, specializing in the area of Identity Theft.

Ms. Adlam began her career in the field of criminal justice serving as a County Probation Officer soon after completing her bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor degree in Psychology from Florida State University in 1995. She found her passion for advocacy in 1997 while working as a Victim Advocate for the Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, sex crimes, domestic violence and child abuse units. Ms. Adlam relocated from Orlando to Gainesville Florida in 1999 to accept the Regional Victim Advocate position for her current employer.

Over the last decade, she has appeared on local television programs, as well as the ABC News show “20/20.” She has also enjoyed the opportunity to train and speak throughout the country on the topic of identity theft for the Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) since 2007.
