Join hosts Mark Roddy, AIA, Elizabeth Hawks McBride, AIA and Sugra Panvelwala, AIA for another edition of Architecture Matters. as we unpack the comparisons between parti design concepts and design with no rules. In architectural design, the parti is the guiding concept—the big idea that drives form, layout, and experience. But in a world filled with visual noise and social media snapshots, has architecture become more about the party—the spectacle—than the principle? Through engaging presentations and lively discussion, we’ll examine how architects develop and communicate a strong parti, and how that foundational idea translates from plan to experience. We’ll contrast that with approaches that prioritize surface, style, or sensation—asking: Can the two coexist? We will have a short presentation followed by an open discussion led by Sugra Panvelwala, AIA

PARKING: There is plenty of street parking as well as a few parking spots in the lot at Futures Explored.
