About this event

Evolution is nothing new to the talent environment; what has changed is the acceleration of trends that have been occurring over the past 4 years. Social, economic, and global forces have shaped the way people view where, how, for how much, and why they want to work. There continues to be millions of open jobs than there are available workers, and this challenge (or opportunity) will not be going away anytime soon. What has remained tried and true is the importance of delivering a consistent, authentic, and positive candidate experience to help you attract and retain talent.

As an employment agency whose partnered with hundreds of companies for over 25 years, we’ve been exposed to the unique staffing challenges of each industry. We’ve come to realize there are several best practices, but no magic formula. What it comes down to is the basics of building a recruiting culture that includes engaging and nurturing candidate relationships, being consistently visible, and setting the right expectations throughout the interview process.

In this open discussion, we will cover the following:

• Current talent environment, upcoming trends, and relevant statistics.

• Why manager/leader buy-in and training is so important.

• The importance of syncing up your Employee Value Proposition and social media strategy.

• How to build out your interview & onboarding processes.
