Approaches to Drawing and Creative Practice: In the Spirit of Lynda Barry

On Saturday September 27th, we will be following prompts written by Lynda Barry to create quick comics, energetic representational drawings, and to practice visual story-telling.

Approaches to Drawing and Creative Practice is a series led by willa to promote creative play and move through creative block. Each workshop will utilize creative prompts and techniques originally designed by the following artists; Yoko Ono (May), Corita Kent (July), and Lynda Barry (September). The first hour of each workshop will be centered on moving through a series of quick creative exercises, with the second hour focussed on creating work independently.

All artist skill-levels welcome. Supplies for each workshop will be provided by Tacklebox, though participants are welcome to bring any preferred materials.
