Apprentice Open Evening 2026 - WEC Engineering Academy

Hosted as part of National Apprenticeship Week, our Open Evening is aimed at anyone interested in starting a career in the Engineering sector via an Apprenticeship.

We are currently on the lookout for our next intake of Apprentices with opportunities ranging from Welder/Fabricators to CNC Machinists Apprenticeships.

Our Open Event will provide attendees with a good insight into the world of Engineering, how our Apprenticeship schemes work and the career paths available. You will be one of the first to tour our state of the art, brand new training academy. With the opportunity to have a go on our new virtual welding machine, view our facilities and speak directly with our existing Apprentices who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

**Please note that visitors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian and we will require all registered attendees to fill in a Health & Safety questionnaire beforehand.
