Artists are required to complete applications when looking for funding from public or private entities. The process of completing an application is often straightforward, however preparing all the documentation, supporting material and writing and editing the application is very time consuming. It is important to learn tips to prepare for and complete applications in a thorough and efficient manner, starting by asking when to apply to what fund.

In this session Karla Sánchez will share what she has learned from reading several hundred applications in her career as an art historian and curator. She will also share her thoughts about current art structures and alternate possibilities.
