About the Program

This workshop will serve as an introduction to Applied Wisdom for Nonprofits: Eight Practical Insights for Leadership (“Booklet”, “Applied Wisdom”) that offers an IDEAL lens to address many of the challenges nonprofit leaders face even in the wake of the unique adversities that have arisen since 2019. The objectives and goals of the interactive, 2-hour workshop are as follows:

Objectives

• Explore each of the eight chapters of the booklet
• Define the principles of IDEAL and their relationship to each chapter
• Guide participants in using IDEAL as a lens to tackle case studies that exemplify real-life situations in which the eight “Morganisms” may be applied

Outcomes

• Provide a framework for continued use of the booklet and its principles as well as the IDEAL lens in the future.
• Encourage community building and networking to create an ecosystem of support and accountability.

Participants will receive a digital badge of completion to display on LinkedIn, highlighting their commitment to continuous learning and effective leadership.
