Applied Anatomy in Neuroradiology
Overview
This online Applied Anatomy in Neuroradiology fellowship is designed to strengthen radiologists’ confidence and competence in interpreting neuroanatomy in daily reporting. Led by Dr. Ronni Mikkelsen, the course focuses on applying anatomical knowledge to identify normal structures and pathological conditions of the central nervous system.
Through a combination of expert lectures, individual case readings, and group discussions, participants will gain practical skills in localising important fibre tracts, understanding vascular anatomy including collaterals, and interpreting CSF spaces and their relevance in disease. Each module includes short, focused lectures followed by interactive case review sessions and Q&A with the mentor to reinforce learning and build confidence.
Training takes place in an interactive Zoom classroom where fellows can freely ask questions, make mistakes, and learn collaboratively with their peers. All sessions are recorded for flexible review at any time.
