About the Workshop:

This workshop will provide an introduction of progress monitoring and why it is important in an era of increased data based decision making.  The workshop will include a lecture, along with practical application of how to monitor goals and show educational benefits for students in both the academic and behavioral areas.  Emphasis will be placed on learning standards of comparison and calculating rates of progress.  

Anticipated Outcomes:

1. Participants will learn about and be able to choose the most appropriate standards of comparison to use in progress monitoring

2. Participants will learn the four major ways to calculate rate of progress

3. Participants will apply the four major ways to calculate rate of progress using student data
