Ever wanted to learn how to graft fruit trees? This class will teach you the basics of grafting and the knowledge needed to graft nearly any tree! As an attendee of this workshop, you'll get to take home two apple trees that you'll graft.

We will start by discussing why we graft, the different types of grafting, and how plants heal from grafts. We will demonstrate and learn one of the most common grafts mastered by beginners.

Grafting with Candy

Grafting with candy? That's right. We will learn how to properly grafting using candy! This will allow you to see the parts of a tree and understand where the cuts are to be made on the apple tree wood.

Grafting your Own Trees

You'll get to graft two trees and take home in pots. We will provide all the instructions for care of your newly grafted trees as well.
