Apple Preservation 🍎 Planting 🍎 Land Education

Apple Tree Bugs & Crud

Plant a Tree, Cultivate Knowledge, Harvest a Legacy

Pests and diseases can quickly undermine the health and productivity of your micro-orchard. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to identify and manage the most common threats to apple trees—like codling moth, fire blight, and apple scab—using both organic and conventional methods.

In partnership between the El Paso County Conservation District and Colorado State University Extension, this class supports the revival of Colorado’s historic fruit tree culture while promoting sustainable land stewardship and water conservation.
