About this event
Ready for a new fitness challenge? Allen Police Department (APD) is offering new workout programs for the community, open to age 18 and older. APD Condition Series are free, beginner-level workouts styled after the training undergone by police recruits!
At each workout, expect a dynamic warmup and exercise demonstration followed by metabolic conditioning and ending with a cool down. Exercise regressions and progressions are included to make workouts easier or more difficult, ensuring you get the most out of each session. No equipment needed!
Condition 6
Condition 6 is a fitness bootcamp recommended for anyone looking to begin a physical fitness journey, change their routine or prepare for a physically demanding job. Each 45-minute camp meets on specified days and locations for six weeks
Meet the instructor: Officer Mike Delio, CRU
Officer Mike Delio is a physical fitness instructor with experience training police recruits. He holds a Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator Certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and is assigned to the Community Relations Unit, with prior experience serving as a Tactical Medic in the Allen S.W.A.T. Team.

Yes, there are restrooms on-site.
We start at 6AM, with a 5 minute dynamic warmup, followed by our exercise instructions for the day. We aim to be done with the workout by 6:40AM, finishing with an optional 5 minute static stretch cool down.
No.
No. Although we do give out 100% attendance awards, we do not require you to make every workout to register. Some attendees can only make 1 day a week, while others might have to leave a bit early every workout. We understand that life is busy and encourage you to give Condition 6 a try.
