Is this event open to everyone in the community?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, as of right now, the event is only open to UCLA Students, Staff, and Faculty. When you RSVP for a ticket, you'll need to provide your UID and on the day of the event, you will need to show your ticket as well as your BruinCard.

We may open to the rest of the community at a later date

I really want to attend but I am not a UCLA Community Member, what do I do?

Reach out to Curtis Wong via cwong@orl.ucla.edu. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Priority will be given to friends and family of the drag artists.

Question 3

What if I can no longer attend the event?

No worries! We'll miss your attendance, but definitely just submit a refund request so that people on the digital waitlist will be able to attend.

Question 4

I didn't get a ticket, but I am on the digital waitlist. What happens next?

The digital waitlist will be open on a first come, first serve basis until 8 hours before the event starts (basically, waitlist is open until May 30th 12 PM). If someone refunds their ticket, then the next person on the waitlist will receive that ticket.

What's the standby line?

When the digital waitlist closes on May 30th 12 PM, this essentially means that anyone who RSVP but does not show up by 8:10 PM will forfeit their ticket and will need to move into the standby line. The people waiting in standby will be limited to the capacity of the venue (300).

Of course! The category of the night is "Serving Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent in an Academic Honoring Way!"

What is K-Pop Random Play Dance?

K-Pop Random Play Dance is essentially when there's a shuffle mode on some of the most popular K-Pop songs and their choruses. And then anyone who knows the choreo for those songs are encouraged to get up and dance.
