Join APA|DC on Tuesday, June 10th at 7pm EST on Zoom for An Evening with portrait photographer Chris Buck. This will be a inviting and interactive meetup. Chris will present some pictures and backstory for 30 minutes and then take questions from the audience and moderator. Discussion will include the risk and reward equation, and how to build a meaningful career in a likes and followers environment, and how to get subjects and editors onboard with your outside the box photo concepts.

APA members: $5, membership will be verified
General public: $20

About Chris:
Chris Buck is a New York-based photographer known for his distinctive style: conceptual, irreverent, smart, and intimate. His portraits have won placement in American Photography over fifty times, and he was the first recipient of the Arnold Newman Portrait Prize.

His current clients include The New Yorker, and The New York Times Magazine; his celebrity subjects range from Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar to Donald Trump and Barack Obama, from Cindy Sherman to Seth Rogen.
