Overview

Get ready to unleash your inner artist at our ice sculpting workshop. A rare experience, only in Ottawa, the worlds Ice Art Capital.

Our goal is to introduce participants to the fundamentals of ice sculpting small sculptures — from safety and tool handling to artistic technique — through a guided, hands-on experience.

We will also have a strong focus on the science of ice like endothermic reactions, infrared radiation and conduction.

The class will be led by Suguru Kanbayashi, competitive ice sculptor, science enthousiast and former Canadian Ice Carver's Society President.
