Anyone Can Sculpt Ice: Ottawa’s Hands-On Ice Sculpting Workshop
Overview
Our goal is to introduce participants to the fundamentals of ice sculpting small sculptures — from safety and tool handling to artistic technique — through a guided, hands-on experience.
We will also have a strong focus on the science of ice like endothermic reactions, infrared radiation and conduction.
The class will be led by Suguru Kanbayashi, competitive ice sculptor, 2009 Fairbanks Ice Art World Champion and science enthousiast.
