Join us virtually on Tuesday, December 2nd at 12pm as the UChicago To&Through Project and UChicago Consortium on School Research share our annual report, The Educational Attainment of Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Students: 2024.
During this 90-minute webinar, we will focus on:
- Clarity – We'll share the most recent data and takeaways from our report on CPS students' educational attainment outcomes, from high school graduation through college completion, and help you understand how today's outcomes fit into Chicago's decades-long effort to improve college success for CPS students.
- Curiosity – Our expert panel will lead a discussion focused on understanding Chicago's post-secondary access and attainment effort within today's broader educational context of our nation and this moment.
- Collective Action – We'll help you connect these insights to your own context through practical data resources, including our publicly available Milestones Tool and Student Stories, designed to help you identify successes and opportunities for meaningful action in your school and/or community.
Our colleagues Jenny Nagaoka, Deputy Director, UChicago Consortium on School Research and Shelby Mahaffie, Research Analyst II, The To&Through Project will share essential data from the report and we are honored to bring the following panelists, Dr. Heidi Truax, Lisa Kurian Phillip, and Dr. Kyle Southern to tell the story of where we are and what to look ahead to in this work.
