Bring your favourite teddy bear and join us for an unforgettable summer afternoon of joy, connection, and community fun!

Back by popular demand, the Teddy Bear Picnic returns for its second year – a heartwarming community event for families, children, and teddy bear lovers of all ages! Organised by The Bear PATH Project (People, Art, Togetherness, Healing), this event is all about celebrating summer, sparking imagination, and strengthening local bonds through playful and inclusive experiences.


🧸 What to Expect:

🌿 Picnic in the Park – Bring your blanket, lunch baskets, and teddies to enjoy a classic family picnic in the sunshine.

🎨 Craft & Play Stations – Join in on fun hands-on activities including arts and craft, table tennis, a castle, football, and colouring corners.

📖 Teddy Bear Storytime – Sit in for magical stories told by our friendly volunteers.

🧑‍⚕️ Teddy Bear Check-Up – Visit our “Teddy Bear Doctor” station where kids can role-play as doctors and talk about feelings through their teddy.

🏆 Teddy Bear Awards – Enter your teddy in our light-hearted award show — prizes for the fluffiest, oldest, best dressed, and more!

🍦 Ice Cream Van – Cool off with sweet treats (available for purchase) from our favourite local vendor.

📸 Photo Spots – Capture the day with themed photo areas and props!

🎗️ Volunteer Opportunities – Help us run the day! Volunteers will receive a Certificate of Appreciation for their community service.

Do I need a ticket to attend the event?

No ticket is required — this is a free event! However, we kindly ask you to register in advance through Eventbrite so we can plan activities and resources for everyone attending.

What should I bring with me?

Bring your picnic blanket, food, drinks, games, your favourite teddy bear, and plenty of sunshine spirit! Feel free to bring folding chairs or shade if needed. We’ll provide fun stations, crafts, and entertainment.
