Join us for a virtual reading by students in the Stone Soup Writing Workshops on Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific time!

The Stone Soup Writing Workshop was founded in 2020, at the height of the Covid-19 lockdown, in an effort to create an online community of young writers. Now in its fourth year and full of both familiar and fresh faces, our Writing Workshop offers a space for young writers to explore and hone their craft. We are so proud of the work our students have done this year, and we cannot wait to share some of it with you at this reading.

Our students have chosen their favorite pieces that they've written during the course of this year's workshops. Come join us to hear this fantastic writing, read aloud in the authors' own voices.

Stone Soup instructors will be present in addition to the workshop participants, and we hope many of the authors' family members, teachers, and friends will join us and celebrate their achievements. Please spread the word!

If you're a Writing Workshop student who would like to read your work aloud, please submit the piece you'd like to read via Submittable using the "Annual Writing Workshop Reading" category by November 30.

Please also note that the event will be video recorded and that by signing up to read at the event, you consent to being recorded and your performance possibly being published on Stone Soup's website or social media channels.
