Annual Chisago County Career Exploration Event - October 8, 2025

To celebrate Manufacturers Month and acknowledge all that manufacturing companies contribute to the economy, various representatives throughout the county are coordinating an event for manufacturers to meet students from our four local school districts.

This “Career Exploration in Manufacturing” event will be held at Splitrocks Entertainment Center in Wyoming. Over 200 high school students will be met inside the facility by manufacturing companies for direct engagment to ensure long-term takaways.

You are invited to this special event and to have a display to promote your business. The students would also like to see your available employment positions, pay scale and required skills/education for consideration of employment.

In 2024, we added sponsorship opportunities for manufacturing businesses to help promote their business and help make this event engaging for everyone. Any funds collected from businesses will go into the event or back to the students to ensure they are gaining insight on future career opportunities within the manufacturing industry.

Please note: We are strongly encouraging student engagement and interaction as a part of the event - consider options for the students on what you can provide as an interactive conversation piece.

Examples of hands-on exploration would be: An interactive activity, build/create a take-away item, a game, an object that demonstrates potential tasks or duties of position, a quiz or trivia related to your business, final product displays and the process of how they came to be or live demonstrations of machines or processes.

Wednesday October 8, 2025 - SplitRocks Entertainment Center - 5063 273rd St, Wyoming, MN 55092

8:00am - Setup at event center

8:45 am - Career exploration event begins- New wave of students every hour

9:45am - First Presentation

10:45am - First round of lunches

11:15 - Second Presentation

12:15 - Second round of lunches

1:30 - 2pm - Clean up after last group of students depart
