Animal Woman: A Workshop on Boundaries and the Nervous System

Animal Woman: A Workshop on Boundaries and the Nervous System

By Recenter Pelvic Health & Wellness

Overview

Strengthen your boundaries through movement, play, and experiential nervous system learning!

From a very young age we learn to dismiss or override our body's signals, our instincts. At school, at the doctor's office, in relationships - we learn how to behave, how to be polite, how to get along.

Animal Woman is about reclaiming our felt sense of safety, boundaries, and discernment. It's not about acting like animals - it's about tapping into our own mammalian bodies, our own subtle senses. 👣

It's about having a felt sense of your own power and capacity to say NO or YES and really mean it.

🌀 We will dance, play, push, growl, lean in to each other, and practice honoring our nervous system in real time.

This is for you if:

  • you have a hard time saying no to your friends, your boss, your lover
  • you have experienced boundary violations
  • you find yourself in intimate situations that you don't want or like and feel like it's hard to express your desires
  • you consider yourself an over-giver
  • you feel scared you'll lose relationships if you set boundaries
  • you are on the verge of burnout

What to Expect:

  • Guided movement
  • Group witnessing in a badass circle of women
  • Dance
  • Nervous system regulation
  • Embodiment exercises

My hope is that you’ll walk away feeling more alive and energized, emboldened and courageous.🔥

What People Are Saying

"I attended Jessica’s circle and loved every second of it! It was recharging, empowering, and brought out a side of me I’ve been seeking to connect with. Jessica did a wonderful job facilitating a calming, judgement-free space that allowed for growth. Would 10000% attend again!!" - Michelle

"I had a wonderful night with Jessica and the other women. It was such a safe space with a lot of open minds and hearts. She truly understands how to make a deeper connection with yourself and your yoni. My favorite part was the free movement. Just closing my eyes and feeling what moves my body wanted to make made me feel whole. 100% would do this again and again. Jessica is an incredible instructor/guide/mentor. I left feeling bright and connected to myself and the women around me." - Hannah
