The Woodland Trust and University of Nottingham PhD student Vicky Nolan are completing an ancient tree mapping project and we need your help!

Vicky is currently working on a scientific model that will predict areas in England that are likely to support ancient trees.

To complete this research, we are now looking for the help of volunteers to help us carry out a series of ancient tree field surveys across England. The field surveys are a vital element of this research, however they are also a great excuse to put your ancient tree hunting skills to the test and to discover more about these amazing trees!

If you are interested in recording ancient trees and want to help this piece of research by completing a field survey then we would like to hear from you!

Come along to this one hour talk where you will learn about ancient tree identification and find out more about how you can help by taking part in a field survey.
