About this event

Despite a century of logging operations, including clear-cutting, there remains reminders of the forest's original granduer. This 7 mile guided hike will take us to areas not normally open to the public to seek out the remaining old-growth and learn about our efforts to restore the forest and its important ecological functions.

Encompassing more than 209,000 acres of remarkable landscape, these preserves are open to the public free of charge for passive recreation and outdoor education.The Wildlands Conservancy is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation.
