Bloodlines & Borders: A Poetry + Visual Migration Series

Ancestral Maps: A Poetic Visual Journey

Join us for a heartfelt workshop where you'll embark on a meaningful journey into your family history. Write from or to an ancestor, uncovering the stories, silences, and strengths passed down through generations. Through the creative use of poetry and collage, you'll craft a beautiful ancestral map that visually explores your memories, inheritance, and resilience across time.

This workshop is part of our Residency Program. This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
