Low Light Workshop: Pike Place Market to the Waterfront

Shooting film at night is both challenging and rewarding. Join CineStill and Glazer’s Camera for an in-depth, night photography demonstration that will provide you with tips on metering, composition, and a roll of CineStill 800Tungsten film to put theory into practice.

This evening of photography will begin at Pike Place Market. As the sky transitions from sunset into blue hour, we will move towards the Seattle Waterfront at Pier 57 to capture the vibrant lights that come out as the sun goes down. When we explore the market during the day, there are hundreds people walking about. In the evening, things are calmer and the stories change. Come capture this iconic location in a new light!

We will utilize the available light in the environment, as well as experiment with portable continuous lights to expand our creative horizons.

What your ticket includes:

  • One roll of Cinestill 800Tungsten film (35mm or 120)
  • A voucher for one free development and standard scan from Glazer's Photo Lab
  • (Combined value of $32.99)

Where we will meet:

90 Pike St, in front of the iconic Public Market Center sign
