Ana Lucia is an artist based on the beautiful island of Oʻahu. She works primarily with resin to capture the vibrant energy and natural beauty of Hawaiʻi—its lush landscapes, serene beaches, and colorful tropical blooms. Her work reflects the island’s spirit and serves as a love letter to the place she now calls home.

Born and raised in the picturesque city of Oaxaca, Mexico, Ana Lucia embarked on a life-changing adventure in 2014 when she moved an ocean away to live in Hawaiʻi. From the moment she arrived, she was deeply inspired by the island’s breathtaking scenery and the warmth of its people. This profound connection has become the foundation of her artistic journey.

Art has always been a part of Ana Lucia’s life, but it became especially meaningful after the loss of her beloved dog, Romeo. Painting became a way for her to navigate her grief and honor his memory. She began creating pieces that offer comfort, joy, and a sense of peace—just as Romeo did for her.

When she relocated to Hawaiʻi, Ana Lucia had to leave behind all her art supplies and start anew. This challenge led her to discover resin, and she instantly fell in love with its unpredictable, flowing nature. Working with resin taught her to surrender control, trust the process, and embrace the unexpected—lessons that continue to shape both her art and her life.

Join us on Saturday, August 2nd from 11am-1pm for the opening reception of her collection, titled, "Moments in Bloom: Honoring Nature’s Ephemeral Beauty through Lei, Hibiscus & Hawaiian Skies." Light refreshments will be served.

Ana Lucia's goreous resin paintings will be on display for the entire month of August.
