Back by demand, this half-day intensive is my most popular photography workshop. If you’ve ever felt limited by your knowledge of lighting, this workshop is for you.

Join us for a half-day intensive where you’ll gain the skills and confidence to master studio lighting, opening up new creative possibilities and upgrading the services you offer your clients.

This workshop is the ideal starting point for beginner to intermediate photographers and experienced natural light shooters who are ready to confidently step into the world of studio lighting and gain hands-on experience in a professional studio setting.

By the end of the session, you'll feel confident planning your next studio shoot and have a clear understanding of which equipment to invest in.

Lighting modifiers - Get a comprehensive run through of all the lighting modifiers used in fashion and portrait photography and learn how to create timeless lighting setups that will make your images stand out.

Client Briefs and Lighting - Learn how to plan your lighting strategy around a client's brief to ensure you meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Mastering this skill will allow you to create the perfect visual results every time..

Creative time - Take advantage of the spare time in the studio to get familiar with the equipment, try out different lighting setups and modifiers and get creative.

Health & Safety - Learn how to work safely in the studio, including tips for electrical safety and other important safety considerations.

Connect & Collaborate - Meet likeminded creatives in the industry for Inspiration and Networking.

Reviews

“I found the course the be very clear and easy to understand. We had such a lovely group of people and not only did we all come away with new skills, we came away with some lovely new connections. Paulinne creates a lovely space to learn and explore studio lighting, I would definitely recommend it to anyone just starting out on your studio lighting journey.” - Marigold

The studio lighting workshop was great! I’ve been photographing for a few years using natural light and the occasional on camera flash but I’d always wanted to learn more about using studio lights. Paulinne gave us a such a comprehensive introduction to the most common lights, working in a studio setting and talked through plenty of examples of her own photos. We also had the opportunity to try out different light set ups with our own cameras. It was such a fun day! Thanks so much, Paulinne :)” - MJ

I have nothing but praise and positivity to say about the recent workshop that I attended with Paulinne. The way the information was given out was easy to understand and simple. I loved that we were showed how to physically do the things we were being taught and then given to opportunity to put it into place ourselves. I could have spent all day in there with those people. THANK YOU ” - Amity
