We are thrilled to host internationally acclaimed artist, Lizz Wright at our annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Commemoration event.

From Lane's President, Dr Stephanie Bulger:

"At Lane Community College, we believe Dr. King’s legacy lives on through the connections we build and the community we nurture. Hosting Lizz Wright offers a moment for all of us to gather, celebrate, and reflect on the shared values that strengthen us. This event is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together with unity and intention." We hope you can join us for this special, free community event.

If you are able, we are accepting donations of two items to support our Lane Titan Student Food and Clothing Pantry at the event. Bins will be available door on the evening of the performance. High demand items the Pantry needs include:

• Proteins, (fish, chicken), canned or dried beans or legumes
• Canned or boxed soups or stews, or shelf-stable soup mixes
• On-the-go breakfast items like granola bars, protein bars, shakes, oatmeal cups
• Shelf stable milks (animal or plant based)
• Travel-sized shampoo/conditioner, soap, toothpaste, deodorant/antiperspirant
