It's hard to imagine a better place, surrounded by redwoods, for someone like Indrajit Banerjee
Hailing from a family of prodigious musicians in the Bengal region of India, Banerjee spent over 25 years studying the sitar at the feet of mentors including his grandfather Bankim Kumar Pal and uncle, Ravi Shankar pupil Kartick Kumar.
After achieving an A-grade certification, Banerjee has become a global entity, amassing a résumé that includes playing alongside Sting, and now, for the first time, performing in Big Sur on the edge of the continent.
He'll be joined by Shri Nikhil Pandya, a well-known figure within the Hindustani music community who has been entertaining audiences for over 25 years. Nikhil has also collaborated with western musicians and other performers of non-classical Indian music, making him a versatile performer.
Please join us on May 22nd for what will be an incredible night of music!
