All proceeds from this event will go to Open Up, a non-proift organization located in Pittsburgh, PA. The mission of Open up is to teach mindfulness tools through movement and art practices that center people living with disabilities. Their programs are open to all who identify as having a disability and those who do not. They are for everyone.

About Open Up

For the past 10 years, Open Up has created inclusive, welcoming spaces where people of all abilities—and the caregivers who support them—can connect, move, and access tools for well-being. Programs include free community classes, professional development workshops, summer camp and yoga club, and school-based programming that centers people with disabilities while remaining open to all.

Open Up has also expanded access beyond Pittsburgh through live virtual yoga and improv classes, an accessible YouTube library, and a national podcast, ensuring that individuals and families across the country can participate in this work.

Due to recent shifts in federal funding priorities, Open Up is now in an emergency state due to facing a significant funding gap. In response, the organization has launched a GoFundMe campaign to sustain its programming during this critical time. Donations will directly support:

  • Free, inclusive wellness classes
  • Support for caregivers and families
  • Fair pay for teaching artists and staff
  • Ongoing national and virtual programming

This moment is urgent. Contributions help ensure that Open Up can continue removing barriers to wellness and building a world where people with disabilities are seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
