Christian is a South Dakota Videographer, Photographer, Blogger, and columnist - and those are just some of the creative things he does. His FT work is as a Special Projects Coordinator at Midcontinent Communication (Midco.) In that role, he once created promotional content for Sioux Falls Jazz Fest featuring Joe Walsh. He once collaborated with singer-songwriter Eliza Blue on a tv series that explored rural South Dakota life and airs on SDPB.
Christian has contributed to South Dakota Magazine since 2011 capturing the state's landscapes, wildlife, and cultural landmarks. A personal project, "Prairie Sanctuaries" ducument rural churches across South Dakota. He also loves to photograph the Northern Lights. One of his images was featured on the CBS Evening News, as well as in a NASA feature.
Another area of interest is in macro photography: butterflies, wildflowers, and other items. Christian writes a blog and writes columns for South Dakota Magazine.
