Join us at Sole Folks Art Lab for an unforgettable night of live music with DJ Danny B, community, networking and more—all in support of independent filmmaking.

Enjoy soulful performances by Rob LaRay, Jordan Black, and TA Thomas as we come together to celebrate creativity, culture, and community. Following the performances, enjoy time to mingle and build connections with fellow creatives.

All proceeds from this event will support the production of the short film “Weight of Silence”, written and directed by Oscar Rudecindo; a story exploring family, grief, and mental health.

Logline:
When an emotionally distant older brother bails his troubled younger brother out of yet another arrest, the two are forced to confront years of buried grief, resentment, and unspoken pain over their mother’s death—before it tears them apart for good.
