An Evening in the Salt Cave

Come join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating evening at Soleil's Salt Cave! Choose one of three cave experiences for the evening: a 45 minute gentle yoga class followed by a 15 minute self-guided meditation in the large cave, an hour long self-guided meditation in the small cave, or an hour long visit to the heated salt beds. All proceeds go to the Dion Foundation for Children with Rare disease to fund critical research and treatment for children fighting limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2c. In particular, your donation will go to Exeter residents Berkeley (6) and Kennedy (8) who have LGMD2C. For more information on the foundation and Berkeley and Kennedy, visit: https://www.thedionfund.org/baileyfamily.

A few key things to note:

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your selected session. You do not need to arrive at 5pm if you select the 6:30 session, but please arrive with enough time for your session to start prompty at 6:30.
  • You do not need to bring a yoga mat. A yoga blanket will be provided, but the uneven salt floor is part of the grounding experience!
  • Please wear comfortable clothing. You will be covered in salt!
  • No food/drinks allowed in the cave.
  • Please drink plenty of water the day of the event - salt is amazingly therapeautic, but also dehydrating!
  • There will be a small raffle and gathering in the lobby of the cave between sessions.
  • If you would like to participate in BOTH sessions, you may only choose the salt beds for one session and either of the salt cave experiences for the other session. It is not recommended to do two salt cave experiences, as there will be salt in the air for both of those experiences.
  • Please see https://www.saltcavenh.com/#zjKQUE for frequent asked questions for the salt cave.
  • If you have any questions, please email christina@thedionfund.org.
