His novels have been translated into more than 40 languages and adapted into major films and television series. The Honorable Karna Small Bodman is the author of six international thrillers and an award-winning children’s book. Before turning to fiction, Bodman had a distinguished career in journalism and public service. She served as Deputy Press Secretary and later as Senior Director and Spokesperson for the National Security Council under President Ronald Reagan—at the time, the highest-ranking woman on the White House staff. A graduate of the University of Michigan and a former television news anchor in major markets including San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., Bodman brings a wealth of real-world experience to her storytelling.
