Hope loves wearing her pink tutu, crazy socks, and tap shoes. She dances everywhere she goes, feels what others are feeling, sees magical things in the world, and believes that fairies live in the woods near her house. Unfortunately, there are a few people who are afraid of Hope and even a little jealous because she is such a happy little girl. One day while playing in the woods with her cat, Remus, Hope decides to build a village for the fairies. Lined with beautiful paths and gardens, the village grows every day until it is an entire fairy community. But when a shadow moves over the village and destroys her magical creation, an angry Hope decides she will never love anyone or anything again. When the fairies emerge from hiding to offer wisdom, Hope learns to open her heart to forgive, love unconditionally, and courageously try again. Hope's Cape of Courage is the story of a little girl who, with help from her magical friends from the forest, finds a way to release her pain and forgive.
