🪷 Description
This is a weekly American Seon (Chan) practice meeting for practitioners in Seoul to directly join Master YongHua’s Saturday program streaming from California. We practice silent seated meditation first, in the Weiyang lineage style, and then listen to the live Dharma talk. Open to monastics, lay Buddhists, beginners, and foreigners staying near Jogyesa. Please arrive 10 minutes early; doors close during sitting.
Master YongHua is the founder of Bodhi Light International based in California, teaching both lay and sanghan disciples according to the Wei Yang Chan School teachings in America. He teaches Mahayana Buddhism, including Chan and Pure Land practices, to both monastics and laypeople worldwide, emphasizing vigorous cultivation and the direct transmission of wisdom.
