THE CURVE: SCENE No. 333 is a new album of music written and directed by Ameen Mokdad (Iraq), in collaboration with the Connecticut-based arts organization Cuatro Puntos and the musicians of Cuatro Puntos Ensemble.

Iraqi composer and multi-instrumentalist Ameen Mokdad was trapped in hiding by ISIS for two years in his hometown of Mosul. During that time he wrote an extraordinary repertoire of powerful and emotional music. He arranged it later for string quartet, while he himself plays violin, various middle eastern percussion instruments, recites poetry, and sings. The 19 songs on this album form a soundscape that transverses a range of emotions: fear, defeat, hope, and rebirth.

On Saturday, August 1 at 10:00am Ameen Mokdad's THE CURVE becomes available worldwide. هو البوم موسيقي كتبه و قاده امين مقداد (العراق)، في تعاون مع الفنانين المقيمين في ولاية كنتكيت في منظمة كواترو بونتوس و موسيقيي فرقه كواترو بونتوس .

مؤلف عراقي و عازف متعدد الالات، أمين مقداد كان عالقا و مختبئا من تنظيم داعش لمدة سنتين في مدينته الموصل. خلال هذا الوقت وثق خزين مذهل من الموسيقى القويه و العاطفيه. لاحق اعاد توزيعها للرباعي الوتري، منظما للرباعي من خلال الكمان احيانا، الات ايقاع شرقيه، القاء الشعر و الغناء. المقطوعات ال ١٩ في هذا الالبوم مساحه صوتيه تنقل المشاعر بين : الخوف، الهزيمه، الامل، الولاده من جديد.
