Hostess Bio:
As a young Floridian, I fell in love with piano and painted outdoors, enjoyed camping and nature. I continued my painting even as I studied computer science and worked full time teaching for the navy until retirement, during this time I began my mediation practice and holistic wellness health studies. Once retired I took a position in the local state college as an adjunct professor and continued teaching painting classes in their continuing education program for several years until I became a full-time caregiver. I enjoy gong meditations, that I what I do, there is nothing like hearing a gong! I have begun to share my program with others in the community in hopes that they too enjoy gong meditations as much as I do. As a mediator and I am attracted to ambient music, mantra, stillness. It has scientifical shown that sound can be used to help harness the power of your nervous system to promote good health. I fell in love with gong meditation many years ago at a meditation program in Little Compton Rhode Island. I was hooked, I immediately purchased my first gong, went to gong school and learned how to play. I have been trained and play multiple instruments drums, flutes and various instruments used in creation of beautiful sounds which I present as an ambient sound journey.
