Join us for the Amazing Maize Maze - a family tradition since 1998!

About this event

Get lost in seven acres of corn; perfect for socially-distanced, outdoor, family friendly fun! The Amazing Maize Maze is one of the largest corn mazes in the Southeast.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Mazes require advanced purchase of tickets (sales close the day before). Must arrive by 10am for morning mazes and arrive by 4pm for afternoon mazes. Late entries are subject to be turned away at the discretion of the staff, entry will NOT be permitted more than 30 minutes after your reserved time.

Please use the entrance off of Neck Road - no public entrance on Jim Kidd Road (no matter what your GPS tells you).

Please bring a mask and drinking water with you in case it is needed. Current CDC and local/state guidelines will be followed.

New - the Historic Rural Hill phone app. Collect your map pieces, fill in your crossword puzzle, and figure out the words scramble to complete the ULTIMATE CHALLENGE - all while competing for your place on our LEADER BOARD! Find it in your app store by searching "Rural Hill" (blue background, white flower).

The Amazing Maize Maze is a rain or shine event. In the event we need to cancel a weekday maze due to lightning or tropical storm, notice will given and credit will be issued for a future date.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE AMAZING MAIZE MAZE.

Organizer Historic Rural Hill

Organizer of Amazing Maize Maze Weekdays

Historic Rural Hill is a private non-profit organization located in Huntersville, NC.  We operate a 265 acre working farm that is owned by Mecklenburg County Parks and Rec.  Rural Hill is a working farm, historic site, educational facility, nature preserve, and event site.  We host events year round and many are fundraisers for the site that help us put on free community oriented events and educational programs for local schools.  We also operate as the historic homestead of the Davidson family.  We offer tours and living history to educate the community on the local history and we are open year round.  We would love to have you visit us for one our events or to learn more about the sites history.  We offer a wide variety of events, educational programs, living history experiences, and volunteer opportunities.
