The brain thrives on predictability, structure, and relational input. The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted these pillars in our lives and created visible hurdles for many children and teens. Five years later, we’re beginning to see the long-term neurodevelopmental effects play out.
In this month's Ask The Expert webinar, we'll explore how post-pandemic life has shaped attention, learning, behavior, and mental health in kids and teens. We'll also share practical guidance for families on interventions and next steps.
In this webinar, we'll address:
- The Impact on Neurodevelopment - How disrupted routines, social isolation, and increased screen time affected core areas of development.
- Pink and Red Flags to Watch For - The subtle (or not to subtle) signs that your child may benefit from a neurodevelopmental or neuropsychological evaluation.
- Next Steps for Families - Guidance for parents on appropriate evaluations, how to partner with the school and advocate, and other supports/resources.
Who should attend:
This webinar is for parents, caregivers, educators, and pediatric professionals who want to learn more about how the pandemic impacted child development and how to respond with informed support.
