Earlier this year, we scratched the surface with a workshop on this topic. Now, we're eager to take a deeper dive into how the news media operates. Led by a social science teacher who developed this workshop for adult learners, we will explore the tactics and other aspects through interactive practical hands-on exercises. It doesn't matter if you didn't attend the first workshop. The purpose of this workshop is to learn – together – how to not be misled, manipulated, or divided by the news media.
Enter the building through the front door by the flag pole. The media center is on the second floor. An elevator is on your left as you enter the front door. We will have an amplification system this time to make it easier for everyone to hear.
