cut + paste, founded in 2015, is a Phoenix-based group that hosts public and private collage-making events to foster creativity and community. We collaborate with local businesses and cultural organizations, offering workshops and drop-in art-making in the Phoenix-metro area and beyond.

what is collaging and how do I do it?

There is no right or wrong way to collage. Here’s what we suggest:
Pick up a pair of scissors, a glue stick, and a few magazines, and find a seat where you will be comfortable. (some people will collage for several hours)
Keep an eye out for anything that stands out to you. This can be words, shapes

We get them from multiple sources including library book sales, thrift stores, and donations.
